Pen & Sword Publishing
Founder & Creative Director
Pen & Sword has a strong vision of uniting young, local writers in a safe online space where they can showcase their work, meet other writers and gain the experience needed to get published.
We shed light on young writers from all genders, sexualities and talents ranging from poets, to novelists to playwrights. Pen & Sword encourages a space of inclusivity, creativity and imagination.

Mosaic
Written & Directed
Mosaic was written in 2017 and the script was slowly adapted as writer, Emily began delving deeper into the personal stories of the characters. The film follows Ida, her Mother and Father and follows Ida's journey of uncovering repressed memories from experiencing her Mother's death at age 7.

Acid Dreams
Director of Photography
A passive young woman must navigate through a melodramatic birthday party while on a bad acid trip. Suspecting that her boyfriend is being unfaithful, she investigates his loyalty while questioning whether the bizarre and unusual events unfolding around her are the result of the drugs, or something paranormal taking over the party. Emily was cinematographer for this short film in October 2019.

Emily Directed Episode One of the web series, Hustlers. The series, breaks down the term ‘Hustle’ and aims to spread awareness about the pressure many young and hardworking creatives face in the Perth industry. Its aim is to inspire young people to do what they are passionate about and to not give up on their dreams.
