Emily Shepherd is a graduate filmmaker, writer and radio presenter and business owner from Perth, WA (Wadjak Boodjar).

 

She has been working in the creative space in Perth since 2019 and has a Bachelor of Film (Production) from SAE Institute and is currently studying a Masters of Teaching at ECU Mt Lawley.

She also has a passion for radio and is an announcer at Youth Talk Radio. Her segment airs every Friday at 4:30PM were she discusses Film releases and news. 

 

She has worked as a freelance poet, screenwriter and copywriter since 2018 and completed a three month writing internship at Scoop Digital were she wrote weekly listings and blogs for the online magazine.

In January 2021, she launched her own business, Pen & Sword, an online publishing site for local writers.
